CEREBRO VASCULAR SOCIETY(CVS)



Application for membership

S.NO Member Type Amount
1 Full Member Rs. 10,000+500 (admission fees) – for life
2 Associate member Rs. 5000+500 (admission fees) – for life
3 Resident member Rs. 2000 for 3 yrs


Full member: Shall be those clinicians: qualified neurosurgeons, neurologists dealing with stroke and neuro-interventionists involved in the practice and management of Cerebrovascular and spinal vascular diseases. Application for Full membership shall be made to the Secretary of the Society on the prescribed form along with recommendation from two Full members of the society.


Associate member: shall be those neuroanesthetists, neurochemists, neuroscientists etc involved in the practice and management of Cerebrovascular and spinal vascular diseases. Application for Associate membership shall be made to the Secretary of the Society on the prescribed form along with recommendation from two Full members of the society. They will have no right to vote or hold any office.


Resident member: Any postgraduates undergoing training in Neurosciences can become Resident member. Applications for Resident membership of the Society shall be made to the Secretary of the Society on the prescribed form along with letters of recommendation from two Full members of the Society. They will have no right to vote or hold any office.


Honorary member: Honorary membership may be conferred on distinguished clinicians or neuroscientists dealing with Cerebrovascular and spinal vascular diseases from India or abroad on being proposed and seconded by two Full members of the Society. The proposal should be sent to the Secretary of the Society and approved by the Executive Committee. They will no right to vote or hold any office.


Admission to the Society & General Body All members shall constitute the General Body of the Society. However, only Full members shall have the right to vote in the General Body Meeting of the Society. The application of all desirous of becoming members shall be reviewed and approved by the Executive Committee and ratified by the General Body.
